What Is Hydro Jetting and How It Works?
Hydro Jetting (Hydro Scrubbing) is a process in which your sewer pipes are scoured by streams of high-pressure water, coming out of a nozzle that is connected to the hose, at up to 3,500 psi. These high-pressure streams are strong enough to cut through and clear out any debris in your sewer lines.
When would I need Hydro Jetting?
Hydro Jetting is an appropriate solution, when clogs cannot be removed through traditional snaking method, such as in the presence of roots in your sewer lines. Hydro Jetting is also required before doing a Trench-less Pipe Lining, because any debris present in the existing pipe can cause the pipe lining resin to be malformed and /or prevent it from bonding correctly into the existing pipe.
What are the benefits of Hydro Jetting?
Hydro Jetting can easily cut through most of the roots and debris and at the same time clean any built-up mineral deposits and other obstructions that are clogging the inside of your drain line. In some cases secondary drain lines also need hydro jetting such as: kitchen, bathroom sink and tub/shower to clean grease, sludge, and debris build up from an accessible clean out.
